Site visit during the quarantine

A few years back, in the middle of the quarantine, I made a site visit and the client, an owner wasn’t even there. The key to the site fencing was in a lockbox and I still haven’t met them. They sent such a detailed set of documents in a Dropbox account, I completed the entire report with just a few phone calls.

Not everyone can do this, but that is one way to do a consultation, entirely remote. It worked fairly well. This might be a good way to accomplish a consultation in the future. But it is not for everybody. The client did a large amount of work, especially financial reporting.

Remember, keep your records of your project. Take photographs, stay in contact with your construction team.
